You know, for another idea, the iPod nano has an FM receiver. Probably not useful on a cruise but for later that could be nice. They have the touch screen but only 16 GB memory which might or might not be enough.

If I put ALL of the music in iTunes on my computer onto an iPod (which I don't want to), it would only fill 7.3 GB, and only play for about 100 hours continuously without repeats.
I've never felt the need to have ALL the world's music at my fingertips.
