I like treating my kitty with wet food. Not as an every day but a couple times a week.

Cook it ... kill the little high-protein buggers.

No -- I don't get the opportunity to see that. But mine will eat recently killed rabbit, and we've had to take groundhogs away from them. I don't doubt they would be happy to deal with a fresh deer carcass.

Since the animals whose meat and "by-products" go into kibble-type feed are not poisoned to death by the feed mills, where do the euthanasia drugs come from?
(We insist on feed from a nearby mill, with no ingredients from China.)
