Re: [iPad] Re: OT to Jim

We are a tight group. I feel like I can anticipate how many regulars will respond. Maybe even craft my responses accordingly at times. I've had the opportunity to jump in a few if those. Lurking is the key and jumping in can be very very daunting. That said *I* enjoy jumping into those situations but I've bombed miserably before. Not fit in. Been ostracized. It can be frightening. It can also help to build thick skin. My email is always open to comments thoughts or criticisms.

Welcome to any all all new members. Watch. Get the feel. Dive in.

I think Jim takes some getting used to in his responses and sense of
humor (I am not sure about the humor part ;-D ) so for a new member it
seems like he is being rude and insensitive.

Some of us belong to groups where the type of topics and replies in this
group are not permitted so I think maybe until a new member is used to
the way the group functions they should not be dumped on immediately.
That is just my thought........don't dump on me for saying it. ;)
I am not even sure what was said to make the new person take offense and
retreat.
