How interesting. I occasionally download songs from Starbucks, but I also have a lot of songs that I have no recollection of having downloaded, and they are songs I would never choose to download.
Also, I do not like that to sync to the Mac you have to choose to erase everything on the device and replace it with what is on the Mac.

The dialog popup states to sync with the iMac it will delete the songs and apps on the iPad and iPod, then sync.
So I'm back to my original questions.
Will I lose those many addition songs and apps on those devices that iTunes & iCloud has apparently lost?
