RE: [iPad] iPad to tv

What I previously described with the Dish Network Hopper receiver was a
description of how I can access my Dish programming and videos with my iPAd.
I inadvertently confused you because this is not what you were wanting to
do.

In my opinion the easiest way to stream videos from your iPad to your TV set
is simply to buy an adapter cable .... the Apple connector on one end and an
HDMI connector on the other...... assuming your TV is recent enough to have
HDMI connectors.

Others here have suggested you buy an Apple TV device. That will work fine,
too, although it will cost a bit more than an adapter cable and it is bit
more complex in operation than using an interface cable. Then again, there
are a lot of other things available to you if you have an Apple TV device.

Hope that helps.

I've got an iPad and Dish's Hopper and don't know of any way to stream video
from the iPad to the TV via the Hopper. Please expand on just exactly how
you are doing that?

I know that I could stream from the iPad to the AppleTV to the television,
but I know of no way to have the iPad stream to a Hopper.
