RE: [iPad] iPad to tv

Yes, Jim. It's pretty slick using it in home. My home network is a
Gigabit WiFi Router and handles streaming video just fine. No internet
needed in- house. Signal path is: Satellite ==> Hopper Receiver ==>
Local WiFi router ==> to iPad. ...and as previously stated, is
accessible over the Internet too. Can access both stored videos on Hopper's
DVR or Live programs on Hopper's receiver directly using the Dish app on my
iPAd.

Also, I'm pretty sure DirecTV now offers something similar.....they better
if they want to stay competitive.

cable.

So you go via Wifi from iPad to DISH/Hopper, then through the normal
connection from DISH receiver to TV?
