I got her the Otterbox at Microcenter. That case is a TANK and protects the screen big time more so  which is what my daughter needs.

Tanks are pretty rigid, but if a tank hits another tank, what's inside may get smeared into a jelly-like paste on the inside walls.

Conventional cars have energy-absorbing crush zones, so that the forces of an impact are NOT transmitted to the soft things (us) inside.
