You're on the right track Tony. Add the idea that if iPad/iPhone could dual boot, it could see all the files on your device. Of course it wouldn't be able to use all files but to see them would be cool. I would want to dual boot Unbuntu. Would be fantastic..

I thought about this too.Imagine a dock, lets call it iDock.1. It could just be a connector that when OSX is booted, it sees the iPhone and iPad CPU, GPU, Ram, and storage as one device.2. Or it includes extra battery and flash storage where OSX may live.If OSX was synced from yours at home with checkboxes to sync what you want on the run (to reduce storage), wow, nice. iDock would include a keyboard, the iPad screen is used. Be same size as an iPad, a bit thicker, so still portable.Downside? The only one I feel is will this reduce sales of Air, base MBP or Mac Mini? From: Alice <whiterabbit32@gmail.com>

I wonder how thick an iPhone/iPad will have to be to dual boot to OS X or how big a battery it would need or how much storage space it would need. \\ /\ Alice.( ).
