I use my iPad for music. A combination of correct reading glasses and a good mount will do wonders. I can recommend a great app for reading the music. It's called Songbook+ by Baum Software. I also run a Yahoo group that you can subscribe to that helps newbees etc. Called SongbookPlus.
This is the cadillac of apps and I've been using it live on bandstands for nearly 3 years now. Check it out.

I love my iPad with forScore and iCScores etc, but it's just not really big enough to really see a whole page with nice big notes. I need one that is at least 8x10 and preferably even bigger. I guess I should not hold my breath. A laptop doesn't fit on a music stand and doesn't run the aps.
