I really hope the iPhones goto 128. I'd do that. On my iPad 32 is almost overkill although I'd doubtfully ever do a 16

I'd guess 16GB is fine for most people. But 16GB more costs only a hundred bucks. Play it safe - get 32, 64, or 128.To answer your question, yes 16GB can be too small. I would recommend
a 16GB (it was the size I originally got) unless you think you would
be compelled to buy an upgrade unit within the next 2 years like I
planned. Take a look at my top storage eating apps, they total more
than 16GB. Also remember a 16GB iPad would be actually less than 16GB
usable storage.
