Re app size. I have several field manuals on my iPad 3, 32 gig. They range in size from about 900 mb to 1.3 gig. Most apps are much less. What takes up the most room is that darned All Imported Album, which really hogs space if you do not understand how The iPad handles imported photos. Hate it, but how many time have I said that. -:)
