Re: [iPad] OT: Food fantasies

Yes. What the manufacturer does after pasteurizing it is the bad part not the process which makes it taste bad in the first place. Either way if one must consume the milk of a mammal at isn't human then I believe (again I am no dietician nor doctor) that the best way to drink it is unmolested by pasteurization or additives.

As far as I am aware, there is absolutely NO reason why "one must consume the milk of a mammal" (is there another kind?) after around the age of 10.

I prefer almond 'milk' it tastes awesome and I'm led to believe a better product for you. That's what both my dietitians said (I had 2 in 2006 one specifically for diabetes and another bcuz I could and I wanted more and different info).

I eat ice cream occasionally. I like cheese, and cottage cheese. I rarely drink milk at all.

But all I had to do was eat smart and healthy and for me my diagnoses of diabetes was incorrect. Correct my diet to be more natural and my weight went down and "diabetes like symptoms" went away. Along with apnea. Depression. High blood pressure. That's me I'm just one guy with anecdotal evidence. But I'm not alone)

All those benefits can easily be due solely to the weight loss, not to the method used to lose it.
