Assuming you're in iOS7 and it's new appearance, tap on the icon just to
between the < > icons and the address bar at the top of the screen.
this icon looks like a box with an arrow pointing out of the top. When
you tap on it, while you're on whatever page you want to add to the
bookmarks, a dialog pops up offering you the option of emailing it or
airdropping it or twitter or facebook and at the bottom is a row of
icons with Bookmark on the far left. Tap that Bookmark icon and your
bookmark is saved. There are other options as well.
