I didn't mean that. I think the sugar is added after to make it taste more normal. I did not mean to imply that the process included it but milk manufacturers in the low fat or whatsits add sugar. Sugar is bad bcuz we get too much of it and much of it is hidden in stuff like milk and in places you never expect to see it.
Yes. What the manufacturer does after pasteurizing it is the bad part not the process which makes it taste bad in the first place. Either way if one must consume the milk of a mammal at isn't human then I believe (again I am no dietician nor doctor) that the best way to drink it is unmolested by pasteurization or additives.
That said. Again. I prefer almond 'milk' it tastes awesome and I'm led to believe a better product for you. That's what both my dietitians said (I had 2 in 2006 one specifically for diabetes and another bcuz I could and I wanted more and different info. Granted that info is 7 years old. But all I had to do was eat smart and healthy and for me my diagnoses of diabetes was incorrect. Correct my diet to be more natural and my weight went down and "diabetes like symptoms" went away. Along with apnea. Depression. High blood pressure. That's me I'm just one guy with anecdotal evidence. But I'm not alone)

When milk is pasteurized sugar is added. Refined bad for you sugar.
I have not been able to find any reference except you for adding sugar being a part of Pasteurization. Please sent a reference.I just read the ingredients. I guess I can goto the store and snap a pic.~KLMFrankly, I don't think that will do.You claimed adding sugar is part and parcel of the Pasteurization process.I said, as far as I can learn from my readings, it is not. What the reseller may do after they recieve the Pasteurized milk from the dairy is another issue entirely.
