Thanks. Ima hit up a few dairies see if I can get raw cows milk as dog food ;) and yea there are a lot of 'associations' that lobby and spend money to promote self serving and society harming agendas. I'd say corn subsidies do more harm than good. But dairies and ranchers all have lobbying groups as does Kraft. Just because we have a food pyramid doesn't mean that how it was made wasn't sold to the highest bidder.
That said. I wouldn't do anything unless it made me happy. If I was miserable eating well I wouldn't do it. But preparing decent meals makes me happy. Seeing my toes makes me happy (if you know what I mean) if eating dunkin donuts and Taco Bell makes you happy then do it by all means. Oh of course I may argue you'd be happier as a healthier individual lol but to each their own.
