I'd say the federal raids on the Amish for raw milk continue despite common sense. And perhaps because of lobbying. Leave dairies alone too. if people willing seek out and buy raw milk, let them. Wasting tax dollars on this is ludacris at best.

The laws that ban the sale of Raw Milk were passed due to the lobbying by the large dairies that are required by a previous law to pasteurize their milk. They did this because they thought they were losing too many sales to the purveyors of raw milk.
