Is the Surface Pro even out yet?

I am an avid Excel user and would like to do the same type work on the iPad but have no clue where to find the correct apps.If you use Excel like I assume you do, the iPad won't cut it, the Numbers app isn't Excel as you likely use it and not 100% compatible. Take a look at the Surface/Surface Pro, if you want a tablet, although I don't think ANY tablet has a good UI for Excel. You will need a mouse/touchpad and a keyboard for Excel, so now you have the form factor of a laptop with a screen too small for me to see (especially if it is a 1080p screen). There are many things the iPad can't do, but that isn't the point - that is why I have a MBP with Windows. But I use my iPad at least 5x as much as I do my MBP, 10x as much as my Win8 tablet and 20x as much as my Android tablets combined. In short, even as an avid Excel user, your iPad will be your constant companion.Bob
