The iPad mini has a model with 4G. The Kindle Fire HD is strictly
WiFi. If I didn't have an iPad, I would get the mini. My next iPad
will most likely be the upgraded iPad Mini - unless the tablet
landscape changes drastically.
Since I kept the Kindle Fire HD, I will be rooting it (aka jail
breaking it) so I can get the Google Play store on it. The Amazon
AppStore is very limited.
Thanks,
