yea but they arent good enough so they added cars where even if you are less distracted on your phone than the guy chowing a burger you are automativcally guilty and he is not, even though he is swerving and you are not. its harder to prove distraction than it is to say "ypour honor his cell phone logs prove he was on the pohone when i put on my lights"
now. i effin hate my phone in the car, i have a memory stick with 1300 songs i dont need to change, and rarely drive anyway as i prefer the bus when i can afford the time to walk. but i disagree with adding things to the list of prohibited activities. cops can text and drive. i can change my shoes but not answer a call without a bluetooth and the studies (IIRC) show just talking almost as bad as holding the phone, so its bee ess
nonetheless, i can communicate via a CB and not be guilting of talking on a phone without being considered automatically distracted for doing so. therefore im gonna humor him and allow him to equip me with one. plus. we need some stuff to bond on and he wants to teach me side banding or something like that and skipping and stuff that i am ignorant of.

Does your area have non-specific "driving while distracted" laws?
