I have way too many apps. Some I use a lot, others looked good when I got them but I don't use them now (may later, though).
Right now my apps are alphabetic, and some are in folders, like finance, travel, fitness, photography, etc.
Have any of you found a way to manage a bunch (maybe 200) apps? I don't really want to get rid of them because sometimes I tire of a favorite and start using another (reminder apps, as an example, now using Due, used to use Errands, or Clear).
Too much of a good thing!

I also have a lot of apps I got from "other" places (I like to try before I buy, but sometimes they languish on my iPad before I decide if I want to buy them or not).

My "solution" is to export a list of installed apps, open in Excel, categorize and include a brief note as to why I thought I need the app and whether or not I purchased it yet.

The way iOS works, it is rather inefficient to use more than one or two of the same type apps.  So, I guess I need to slim down from the 8 or so file-transfer apps I have down to maybe one....especially with the advent of great cloud storage options such as Skydrive.
