Oh,  my provided X-ray image was a .jpg format already to display on any PC.  Nice of them,  I thought.  However,  I never ceased to be amazed at the rapidly growing amount of medical apps that are becoming available on the iPad.

My last doctor's visit provided me with a nice full, HD image on CD of my chest X-Ray.  I'd post it hear but it wasn't in color …. And would be taking this thread even further off topic.

Look into Osirix for your iPad.

The Mac version is free (unless tou want the 64-bit version or the diagnostic-quality one), but the iPad version is not. 

 

But what it IS, is a display system for medical images, even including CT scans and MRIs.
