Re: [iPad] Anti-science anti-chipping

All the rescue dogs I've owned or were family pets when I was a kid were taught that laying on their backs in our arms or on the floor meant more attention.  They got so comfortable with it that some even fell asleep laying on their backs when their tummies were rubbed.  Bob Barker doesn't care at all if I carry him around the house holding him like a baby on his back.  My Dad thinks it's the cutest thing.

I've always flipped them them on their backs between 0-6 months. they are so far never thinking they are alpha.

We start picking them up and holding them on their back in our lap when they're 3-4 weeks old. They don't get to go back on their feet until they relax while we pet their tummy.

It sticks.

We just now inverted a 60-pound 3.5 year old, to examine a cut on the bottom of her foot. She relaxed at once.
