Re: [iPad] Applying settings in iTunes

What I do every so often is go through all the apps on my iPad and try to remember the last time I looked at it.  If I have forgotten I had the particular app on my iPad or haven't used it in quite sometime, it gets deleted.  I know I have the app in iTunes on my computer and backed up in case I ever want it again.

I'm an app junkie so am running out space on the iPad. The last time I connected my iPad to iTunes to sync songs, it returned an error saying there wasn't sufficient space all the apps.

So, I'm trying to turn off the iTunes 'Automatically sync new apps' as a way to not sync the apps portion. When I close iTunes, it tells me that I've changed the settings for the iPad and asks if I would like to apply my the changes.

If I choose 'Apply', iTunes says the settings were not saved because the iPad could not be found. That's true because I didn't connect the iPad since it can't finish the sync due to low space.

Is there a way to save iTunes settings without having to sync or connect the iPad?

Thanks.
