Re: [iPad] Re: Too many printer apps available... which to choose?

Apple should make iPad print on many many many printers that people already have. As a programmer and maven in the computer field for 25+ years, I am aware there are lots of innovative ways to make it happen, and make customers who are using the heck out of their iPad be able to print without having to own other computers to use as a "middle-man".

I am not interested in debates, at least the way you "debate", until you get more objective and master critical thinking and general semantics. Too many times you just say many things on a thread you already said and add a lot of 'noise' to a thread where people are looking for answers.

Debates to me are steeped in facts and objectivity and good critical thinking and general semantics.

I enjoyed and learned from the people who offered help printing, as I enjoyed and learned from people who helped the users who needed to watch Flash.

I did not enjoy seeing those people told 'your needs are wrong, and you should not need that'.

I did not enjoy 'Apple is selling most of the tablets so every decision they make is proven out by their sales figures' as a good opening salvo on a rational thoughtful debate. The computer and tech field has highways of littered corpses that used to have huge market shares, this can change in a 'New York Minute" as Don Henley would say. I hope it does not - I unlike you think that a "niche" is a lousy place to be if users want lots of 3rd party support and goodies, I am happy when Apple sales are huge, and they get a #1 spot anywhere it gives the 3rd party market tons of $$$ incentive to make amazing iPad goodies - hardware and software. If iPads are a niche (and they are not) then Photon Browser or other apps could end up out of business, which would do no one any good. A rising tide raises all boats.

My printer has an app for photos. My snide remark was meant to be snide and to stir up debate. It worked. Thanks for joining ;) although, instead you should debate how and why apple (who doesn't make printers anymore) should be making printing software. Lol. It did. The printers haven't gotten behind it. What's your thoughts  on that? My canon prints photos. Hp does too. Why others don't is beyond me. Ask epson. Oh wait I think they have an app too! Ask brother to get on board! Or whomever. But puhlease. Don't Blake apple for not making printers lololololol
