What router do u use ?
Is it ipad 1 or ipad 2 ?
I also had the problem with my ipad 2
When connecting TP Link router, when I use other router seems no problem, it seems some wifi router with some spec had prob with ipad2
My internet connection, suddenly disconnected after use 5 min...
So I had to disconnect and connect wifi...
After googling I found some solution,
Try to set ip address on the ipad to be static... And set the dns with 8.8.8.8
Its google opendns...
After I put the dns, the problem gone...
Hope it helps.. U can try other opendns....the important thing is set ip addrs static

I have had a similar problem with my iPhone. Many other devices connected without trouble. It's IP address appeared to be fine (it was unique on the network and started with a 10 not 169 which could have been the problem). It connected with other wifi networks without problems. I googled it. I looked at Apple support forums. I got the sim card replaced. Nothing helped.
A new router. In my house we sometimes have as many as four iPads online, all on the same wireless router with no issues.
