Reminds me, a friend from Mass. got a job in Oregon as a choker setter, during college summer vacation. He read the paper when he arrived and saw the story, "3 choker setters killed this week!" Imagine his feeling then.
I spent 30 years as a cop so I understand the psychological functioning of that skin "like a duck's back." Actually, when you are centered and know and are comfortable with yourself, names and insults don't effect you, unfortunately if you laugh, it often escalates the 'problem'.
