Ostrich is lean red meat -  the steaks are totally delicious!


Kangaroo is more like a combo dark/white meat turkey but really stringy.  Not worth the time to cook or eat it, imho.

Had kangaroo in Australia once - felt wrong to be eating it!   They're so cute hopping along...

Has anyone ever eaten alligator and liked it?   Have tried it twice and both times hated it, but have talked to people who love it.   To me, it's like the lump of fat in the can of baked beans!

I'd imagine kangaroo was very dark meat like cougar. Tough. But in a stew or soup totally yummy.
