No, but my son and I made deep fried earthworms and served them at a church potluck, they were a hit then we got in big trouble.

Too bad I was fast asleep while all the fun was going on!!!!!! That was a real hoot!! We once had ostrich meat, but it didn't really leave a very lasting impression on me. It seemed strange to be eating an ostrich, though! It's so crazy the way the human brain works. Chicken's OK, turkey's OK, but ostrich??? Hmmm My dad once told me we eat with our brains and not with our stomachs, and that is so true! He and my mother went to Las Vegas for a Pro-Am golf tournament when I was a kid, and they brought me some chocolate-covered ants and grasshoppers and bees! No, thanks!!! I took one of them out and my dog got hold of it. It cracked, and a bee fell out!!! UGH! She wouldn't eat it, either. In the meantime I have seen docs about people in Switzerland eating dried, salted insects as if they were peanuts! I couldn't do it. Have any of you?
