Still angsting over it -- but considering that I don't think I'll be using
it in my lap that much -- that's what the iPad is for! -- but will want to
be able to see it when on a table w/o too much squinting & leaning-in,
I'll probably stick with the 13". Still have time to decide.
I see by the specs that the 11" is about 1 to 1-1/2" smaller in W/L & a bit
over 1/2 lighter. I may stop in at the Apple Store & look at them both
"live" before I crack the seals.
I'm sure I *could* manage to learn to "work" on it -- but really do not want
to get into the new s/w learning curve or find substitutes for what doesn't
come in Mac version, or -- before anyone says "but you can run Windows on a
Mac!" -- get into a dual-boot system -- I might as well stick with a
dual-*computer* system. And the MBA isn't "big" enough to hold everything,
I'd still need to plug it in to my keyboard (for more than bits of casual
typing), external storage (much of which would have to be re-formatted &
re-done for Mac), etc. to do that "work". And of course there are the years
of email archives that I don't know how I'd access & refer to.
So whichever inchage I go with I think I'll keep the MBA as an entertainment
(which includes web-surfing :-)) and iDevice sync-er.

I have a new 13" & really do like it. I mainly use it for streaming video,
email & web surfing. The resolution is terrific as Terry mentioned & I
really enjoy the light weight of it.

Nope, you did the right thing getting the 13". Big enough to view nicely but
small enough to make traveling easy.
Try it for work stuff. You may be pleasantly surprised!.
