But my photos range from 1998, over 3 cameras, not all will have complete exif data or location, or time. I ONLY want them sorted as per the nested folders that I have, is that possible, Kris?

I use iPhoto on the Mac. iPhoto is a photo library and editor Abd database. I choose to let it manage my photos. I can scroll by year or by face or by map place automagically. I can create albums that sort my photos. Rate them Abd sort them by assigned keywords or create albums like iTunes.
