I get asked that question a few minutes into my splashtop session.
I close the window without answering ANY suggestions and my PC screen ends up unscathed.

Cool. I set it up and it was freaky to see my laptop screen show up on my iPad. The only thing I don't like, and it's a small issue, is that when it's on, it changes the screen of my 17 inch laptop to maybe 15 inches.

You can access up to 5 computers, at least that's what I read on their website.
