My 4S only has photos I took on the phone in the Camera Roll. All my PC synced photos are in albums and not visible when I connect my PC.
In Photos app there is a Library folder that has everything. If CCK import to Imported folder is not visible as Millie says, then I am back to square one. Options are get a MAC, spend time leaning iPhoto and integtare the lot, or buy SD cards to cover the trip, or take my Laptop. The iPad was to avoid taking a laptop away.
