[iPad] Audio books from CDs to ITunes

I download CD books from our public library. I found this program
called "Teridon's Audiobook Helper". You can download it from
http://mysite.verizon.net/teridon/audiobook_helper/index.html. There
are also directions for it there too. I download one CD at a time to
Itunes, Open the Teridon program, I type in the Authors name, Book
Title w/number of current CD of total number of CD's in the book (The
Innocent 01 of 10), genre is "Audiobook", I give the number of the
disk and then the number of discs in the book. For new track names, I
check "Include Disc Number" and the last option "use letters". Once I
put the number of the CD in it's box, you will see the track names
change to 1a, 1b..... I also check the Compilation, Skip and Gapless
and Eject on completion boxes and then hit "Start Importing". All
your file names will change to the names you listed in Teridon's
program and they will be copied in correct order. The next disc of
the book, you only have to change the disc number and the disc number
listed in the title. Once all discs are in Itunes, I make a new
playlist with the name of the book, do a search for the name of this
new book in "New Music" folder, hold control key down and click the
first file of the first disc and click the last file of the last
disc...all will be selected so you just have to Lclick and drag them
to the new playlist file. I have never answered anything in this
group...my knowledge is very limited but....once I found this program
(over 5 years), I have saved and listened to many books....Luv the
program for it's simplicity. - Hope this works for you - Joan in
