What they are doing is catering to the Big Users and shafting those of us
who don't use much minutes or data.
I'm currently paying ATT $55/month for more minutes than I use in a *year*,
(I really should switch back to $10less old-folks-plan!)
more data than I need, and no texting (pay-per-use).
Verizon's *minimum* charge for just a smartphone will be $90 for even more
than I already get (& don't use nearly all of) from ATT.
At least VZ came out with this before I thought about upgrading & switching
carriers.
