Still learning the IPad and Mac.
There is a TuneUP window on my Mac which tells me to click and install the latest version to clean, analyze and Deduper.
Do I want to install this?
Is it junk or is it a needed program?
There are more than one piece of 3rd-party software with names like that. One is for Windows; one is for adding stuff to iTunes, ...
Where did this window appear? In Mail? In Safari? Simply on the desktop?
Software that was downloaded to the Mac from the Mac App Store should not behave this way, but you should see that there is an upgrade when you go to the store.
Do you remember installing this program? If not, this sounds a lot like spam.
