Actually. I am on optimum.  For a few days I was at a location for comcast. 

I like to keep the news in. With optimum you can log on with opt ID. And (If you are a cable subscriber) listen and watch their  channels. 
this was good during hurricane

Though comcast would have same.

Has anyone used the xfinity app to view cable shows on the ipad.  I have it downloaded…and it appears to me that I is looking for DVR commands…not watching TV.

 

I can get the channel lineup….and when I touch a show…it asks which TV in the house to view it on….the ipad is not one of those choices.

 

I have tried the cablevision/optimum when in their system…and it works flawlessly.
