Many people -- and I don't know if you are one of them or not -- decry Big Business buying up companies and technologies, and shutting out the innovative 3rd-party developer.
Until some specific problem that they would like a simple solution for comes up, and they DON'T want innovative 3rd-party solutions, they want a system-wide, integrated, Big Brother Company solution instead.
There ARE solutions. You CAN easily print using a paid application.
Should Apple cut out 3rd-party developers, one by one, for every popular "application space"?
