I have read and seen so much regarding Apple's plans that I decided to wait until the products are released. Hell, I can Photoshop just about any image and serve it up on the Internet as a secret prototype.

Some people sift through Apple's patent filings and decide that when Apple patents something, it must be coming soon, to an iDevice near you. We patented several things that Palm never considered releasing. Microsoft has an entire department that does nothing but research and sometimes, something interesting will be patented. It does not mean it will be realized and for sale at Best Buy.

As for NDAs, that can happen. People have big mouths. I have seen terms violated and sometimes, the person violating them often pay one way or another. I am writing a service and assembly guide for a company that manufacturers a popular line of computer products and the last thing I would do is violate the NDA. I want to work for them again.

Excellent approach.

Those Making Pronouncements are either violating non-disclosure agreements or making wild-ass guesses™.
