Many of them may not have competence to develop the printer end software and elecronics.
Printer manufacturers are mostly mechanical companies.

I can't believe printer manufacturers don't see the windfall of monetary growth they could gain by making apple iOS friendly wireless printers. I mean there has to be at-least 30 or 40 million people globally that have the iPhone and iPad if not more. Seems like big business foolishness to be.
