Apple has pioneered the concept of wifi printing. Sooner or later, every printer manufacturer will adopt that. HP is only first one to do it. It removes the distance limitation. My printer is in one room and desktop in another, and iPad / iPhone can be anywhere in the home. As long as they are on same wifi network, I can scan and print.
The printer was only 89€ and bought in July.

Apple needs to more aggressively address printing for their user's sakes. I am lucky I do my word processing on Zoho.com when on my iPad then p
