I'm more concerned about the safety & quality of the file than whether or
not I paid for the content. I don't care about the DVD box being prisine,
either -- I'm not planning on selling it as a "collectible".

When I buy tv show DVDs. I don't open them. I just torrent the files I could
have created. Much easier. And the DVD box stays in pristine condition. I
paid to see it on tv. And I bought the DVD. To me. I'm just letting someone
else do the converting.
