Hi Vickie,
It's a small world. I used to live in Spring Valley. I moved to western NY 2006, after I retired from NYPD. I worked @ the WTC from 1979-1983, worked on the 44th floor of building 2. Because I worked there, I am also interested in the history of those bldgs. I used to eat my lunch in the plaza during the summer months and enjoyed many a free concerts there.

Maria,Interesting that you knew Robert Fazio. When I first heard of his name as one of the victims, I thought it was a former boyfriend of mine from Spring Valley. Not too many people with that name.I have also downloaded the app, which looks very good. Just watched a video on the building of the towers in the '70s. I am always interested in the history of these buildings and the people's lives who have been changed. I used to skate near the towers all the time.

Thank You so much for posting this. I have downloaded the application. And yes, my family and I will never ever forget. Losing a family member, my husbands dear brother Michael Boyle & his brother's best friend David Arce. Who grew up together and became fire fighters together, & perished together on that horrific day. We also lost a few friends & work colleagues, Robert Fazio, Moira Smith, Glenn Petit, to name a few, and the list goes on. The world has changed, our lives have changed, nothing will ever be the same.
Yes, it's tough to relive, but this is how we keep the memories of those we lost, alive. May all those who lost their lives rest in peace.
God Bless America
