[iPad] selling equipment

 

I'm selling my ipod touch 3rd gen what do I have to do? Do I have to deactivate the serial number, how would I do that?

I'm getting a used 4th gen, if I sync it to my computer, will all my apps work and my info be on the 4th gen?
