I recall the promise of the paperless office. And I remember the era of the costly and ever so noise printer and few compared to today had a PC. Then people started loving printers, rediscovered photography, and cheap printers arrived. Now, most people have a printer, and paper use has vastly increased.
Most paper comes from farms so killing trees is a non-starter.
Some people absolutely need a printer. I absolutely need a printer.
