Uploading things from your iPad to the web is problematic. It has to do with what we call the "Sandbox." Apple/iOS isolates how things like programs interact. All of this happens at the iOS level.
The Apple Sandbox prevents many things and that will likely never change until Apple allows it.
When you jailbreak, however, you can gain some control.
