Re: [iPad] WWDC

The phone feature has been available for a decade.  My PC and my iPad are both phones and along with two cellphones, they all use the same phone number that I've had for 24 years.

Like you, I saw lots of things I'm really going to like.

At home being able to make/receive phone calls from the Mac or iPad while the iPhone sits on a charger is a big plus imo.  And the near total sharing of all data via iCloud makes iCloud finally have some real value, especially at the upcoming price structure.

And out and about when no wifi is available, makes the 'instant hotspot' using the iPhone might make me get a bigger data allowance on my cell plan.  As it is today, the damned screen on the iPhone is just too small to want to do much of anything that uses cell data.

Just so many things shown that I'm looking forward to, to try and pick out which is more desired is nearly impossible!

I saw a lot of features on Yosemite I'm dying to have plus little things, like I get my dark dock back. Some stuff I won't like, like missing scroll bars. I hate the pale colors of scroll bars and who can read Icalendar ? I wonder if they have given up a way to darken and size up the fonts there? It would be nice to be able to read my calendar events on iMac with either squinting or looking for my reading glasses
