Not exactly. Ordinarily, when a text is prepared with HTML, every paragraph has only one CR/LF. I want to put a CR/LF after every so many characters. So that, for example, an X-character paragraph might have Y lines of 10 characters each. So that, say, thisred apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu apples red apples blu appleswould become this:red applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesred applesblu applesIt's a very simple substitution problem, but no app I've found will do it.

I've spent an inordinate amount of time and $$ looking in vain thru the app store for an iOS tool that will reformat text - that is, take a paragraph of, say, X characters and break it into Y-character lines, thusly:

Such a simple thing to do. It's easy in vi and in TextPad, my PC editor, but, apparently, impossible in 99% or more of the iOS editors available.
Does anyone know of a text editor that will do this?
