What do the apps have to do with Safari or any other browser you happen to be using?

HI, Thanks for your response but those apps are the ones that are not showing the ATM locations on my iPad.  I get messages like I need to update my browser (as far as I know everything is up to date) or I need to enable java script on my browser.  I have no idea how to do that and would like help with that.
