Re: [iPad] WWDC

Google Voice works perfectly well with Verizon or any other carrier and any VoIP service such as Vonage or Magic Jack.

P.S.  I use Verizon also.

As I thought.

I used GoogleVoice for awhile but didn't care for it.  And now that Talkatone no longer can be used, it would be even less useful

If it meets your needs/wants I'm glad for you.  I'll stick with Verizon!!  :)

Magic Jack turns your device into a phone with its own phone number.  Google Voice allows me to tie all my phones together using one phone number for both incoming and outgoing calls.

Please clarify just exactly how you are doing that?  I'm assuming you're using some sort of VOIP??

The phone feature has been available for a decade.  My PC and my iPad are both phones and along with two cellphones, they all use the same phone number that I've had for 24 years.
