[iPad] scrolling

Interesting.  I'd have though noscrollbars a no-brainer.  There's nothing the least bit intuitive about a scroll bar.  It exists nowhere in nature but on a computer screen, and there, it can be confusing, because it's moving a little tag backwards in order to push to pull the page forward.  Like driving your car in reverse.

And here we have one of the biggest problems with computer advancement
-- you obviously don't like scroll bars.

I happen to like them a lot for several reasons -- easy to use, easy to
explain to a less experienced user how to use while helping
long-distance over the telephone, and difficult to move accidentally.

Unlike the two-finger swipe on a touchpad or touchscreen, which can
happen quite accidentally.

So you think they're way past their sell-by date, and I think they
haven't even reached anywhere near their "best if used by" date. :-)
